Having a joined up approach in how public services are run is vital. I have a great relationship with the 13 MPs from across West Mercia. It was good to receive the following endorsement from #shropshire #telford and#Wrekin MPs. Its not about tribal politics, its about team work. Working hard, as a team to secure a safer West Mercia.
Dear Editor,
As Members of Parliament for Shropshire, the safety and well-being of our constituents is paramount and we work closely with West Mercia Police to achieve this.
Although the force has a fantastic team of officers who work hard day-in and day-out, we all feel that the current police commissioner and deputy has not delivered for our community and a fresh approach is urgently required.
That is why we are backing John Campion to be West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner with the vote for this very important election on 5 May.
Having talked with John we know he has developed a strong three point plan to improve West Mercia Police focusing on security, reassurance and reform which is both far-reaching and impressive.
John will also work closely with us as local MPs and the Conservative Government to produce the best results for West Mercia Police.
Simply said John has the vision and the knowledge to help make Shropshire safer.
Yours sincerely,
Lucy Allan – Member of Parliament for Telford
Philip Dunne – Member of Parliament for Ludlow
Daniel Kawczynski – Member of Parliament for Shrewsbury and Atcham
Owen Paterson – Member of Parliament for North Shropshire
Mark Pritchard – Member of Parliament for the Wrekin
